Appointed a US Jazz Ambassador by the JFK Center for the Performing Arts, he toured Africa with his trio. Bergson has performed and shared stages internationally with Hubert Sumlin, Little Sammy Davis, Etta James, John Hammond, Dr. Lonnie Smith, and Levon Helm, to name just a few.
