“As a Peekskill resident, I want to share my love of music, spotlight some of our best up-and-coming talent, and give something back to the local community. By donating some of the proceeds to three worthwhile educational programs, I hope to encourage young people to explore the amazing world of music and the performing arts. School districts are facing enormous financial challenges, and if we can help to fund and encourage students to pursue their musical dreams, I want to help,” said Daisy.
Daisy began her solo career performing a concerto at the Royal Albert Hall in London at the age of 14. Since then she has toured the world, recorded the music for the Hollywood Films "Spanglish" and "The Road to El Dorado," signed to BMG RCA Victor, and recorded six albums. After opening the Vienna Festival before 30,000 people, she is currently on tour with the Daisy Jopling Band playing modern arrangements of great classical pieces. March 19 is St. Joseph's day, so she will be celebrating the Italian composers.
