Craig Nixon, electric bass
Craig Nixon is a New York based bassist, music writer, editor and producer and host of jazz radio programs. He has been active in many forms of jazz, from bebop to free improvisation. As a music writer, his pieces have been published in the Woodstock Times, Village Voice, Jazziz and other publications. He is currently the managing editor of the arts and music website AcousticLevitation.org. For five years Nixon was the producer and on-air host of Revolution In Sound, an acclaimed radio program featuring currently working modern jazz musicians. In connection with the radio program he has been interviewed by NPR, Jazziz and Jazz Times.

Sharp has played and/or recorded with a strikingly diverse array of creative artists including Moby, Brad Mehldau, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elliott Sharp, Michael Bisio, among many others. As a producer/composer and remixer, he runs ELBO PROJECT ROOM studio where he has “pushed the envelope" for projects with such artists as Indian flutist Steve Gorn, cellist Stephanie Winters, and klezmer/world artist Zoe B. Zak.
