Oswanski has been keeping company with formidable musicians for more than two decades. Since recruited by Maynard Ferguson’s Big Bop Nouveau Band as a teenager, he’s collaborated with the Maria Schneider Orchestra, Tim Ries and The Rolling Stones Project, Jack Wilkins and Mike Clark, Milt Hinton, Myron Walden’s Countryfied, Dave Berger and the Sultans of Swing, as well as music icons The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Blood, Sweat and Tears.

Tim Ries has collaborated with such jazz artists as Phil Woods, Al Foster, Dave Liebman, Danilo Perez, Maynard Ferguson, Red Garland, Maria Schneider and Donald Byrd. A Verve release with The Joe Henderson Big Band won a Grammy Award. Recently, Ries has toured the world playing saxophone, keyboard and organ with The Rolling Stones. His credits include work with Donald Fagen, Paul Simon, Sheryl Crow, Lyle Lovett, Stevie Wonder, Incognito, Blood Sweat & Tears, Bob Belden and David Lee Roth. Having released five original jazz CDs, Tim now channels his energy into creating jazz interpretations of rock and roll standards.

A seasoned creative and working musician, Ian is a faculty member at Berklee College of Music, Drummers Collective, New School University and City College of New York. His extensive touring in North America, Europe, and Asia has included club, concert, and festival appearances, as well as television and radio broadcasts with such artists as: Michael Brecker, Gary Burton, Dave Holland, Dave Liebman, and Kenny Wheeler. He has received two Canadian Juno Award, two Jazz Report Magazine awards and a West Coast Music Award for his work with the Canadian group Metalwood.
