Ohad Talmor handles Bann's saxophone duties. Talmor plays regularly with his own project; NEWSREEL – a flexible group mirroring his multi-faceted musical identity and which features some of New York’s most creative musicians. Talmor has a privileged relationship with his old friend and mentor Lee Konitz, with whom he co-leads three projects: the Lee Konitz New Nonet, the Konitz-Talmor String Project and the Konitz-Talmor Big Band. As a Composer and Arranger, Talmor's music has been performed by Portugal's OJM Big Band, Switzerland’s Big Band de Lausanne, Brazil’s SoundScape Orquestra, the Brecker Brothers, Steve Swallow 6tet “L’histoire du Clochard” or Belgium’s Bruxelles Jazz Orchestra.
TANN guitarist Oz Noy has made a huge impact on the jazz scene since his arrival in New York City in 1996. His unique and intoxicating style has broken all the rules of instrumental guitar music by focusing on the groove. All-stars such as Keith Carlock, Anton Fig, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Dave Weckl often contribute to his projects on drums, with bassists Will Lee, James Genus, and Reggie Washington holding down the low end. His latest release is Twisted Blues Vo. 1 (2011).
Rounding out the quartet is bassist Jay Anderson. Among the most versatile and respected jazz artists performing today, he has been featured on over 300 recordings, including work with Paul Bley, Randy Brecker, Mike Stern, John Scofield, John Abercrombie, Donald Byrd, Joe Lovano, Dave Liebman, Lee Konitz, and more. He's also performed with the big bands of Kenny Wheeler, Bob Mintzer, Mel Lewis, and Maria Schneider.
